厚紙を帯状に切り、ひねってたわませ、角柱に固定することで生まれる形を探求した10点組作品。紙はひねることで一定の強度を得て、重力に抗しながら曲面の形状を保つ。帯のひねり方や固定位置、角度の選択によって、多様な形が立ち現れる。

A ten-piece work exploring forms created by cutting thick paper into strips, twisting and bending them, and fixing them to square posts. Twisting gives the paper a certain degree of rigidity, allowing it to maintain curved forms against gravity. Variations in the way the strips are twisted, as well as in their fixing positions and angles, give rise to a diverse range of forms.
